Lakai Limited was founded in 1999 by Mike Carroll and Rick Howard. They are known for producing "the shoes we skate."

Mike Mo went from a flow rider for Lakai to producing the type of footage that earned him the first part in "Fully Flared". Two years late, he has a pro model.
